Liberty (UK)

New Hallertau Mittelfrüh clone, its aroma is similar to Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Lower alpha than Mount Hood. Appropriate for Lagers especially when you're looking for a "noble" hop. Primarily used for finishing and dry hopping. Works well in German Wheats if Hallertau Mittelfrüh is not available. Excellent finishing hop for Pales and IPAs. Commonly used in American and German Lagers and Ales. A good commercial example is Pete's Wicked Lager.
Good Substitute: Hallertauer Tradition, Mittelfrueh, Hallertauer, Mt. Hood.
