Crystal 60L (Caramel) Malt
|
Gives a sweet, rounded caramel flavor and adds a reddish/amber color.This is usually the malt for recipes calling for Crystal malt or if you don't know which one to use. Like all the Crystal Malts, its character is contributed by unfermentable crystallized sugar. Use 5-20% to obtain the body and mouth-feel of Crystal.
